The Chesterfield District’s annual Ready Steady Cook competition took place on 28th February 2026 at Wingerworth Scout Hut, bringing together five enthusiastic teams for an afternoon of creativity, teamwork, and culinary skill. Scouts worked hard to prepare their dishes under time pressure, demonstrating impressive organisation and determination throughout the event. The standard of cooking was extremely high, making the results very closely contested.

- 2nd Place – 1st Highfield
- 3rd Place – 1st North Wingfield
All participating teams should be proud of their achievements, as each contributed to a vibrant and enjoyable competition. A huge thankyou goes to the leaders, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the event a success.
The next stage is the County finals on the 26th April 2026.
